Administrative Support – Finance and Procurement (m/f/x)

The TU Dresden is one of the leading universities in Germany and one of eleven universities of excellence. Within the project 6G-life, which is funded by the federal government and is expected to have a total volume of 35 million euros, there is a

a vacancy for administrative support (m/f/x)

(subject to personal qualification employees are remunerated according to salary group E 10 TV-L)

in the Department of Finance and Procurement at the earliest possible date.

Tasks

The person in this position is responsible for the management and monitoring of funds as well as for the procurement of the necessary equipment in the 6G-life project. She/he prepares the requests for funds, interim invoices and proofs of use and is responsible for the communication between funders and project managers. She/he independently prepares and executes the procurement and award procedures from supplier selection to tendering and contract conclusion. In doing so, she/he advises the scientists in all matters of grant and procurement regulations for the project.

Requirements

A successfully completed degree as an industrial engineer (FH), business administration graduate (FH), administrative administration graduate (FH) or business informatics graduate (FH) or comparable commercial/engineering university degree (FH) with several years of comparable professional experience in a university context. The ability to work independently, in an organized and foresighted manner, diligence and discretion, the ability to work in a team, intercultural competence as well as a friendly and confident manner are expected. Furthermore, a very good command of written and spoken English is required, as well as a confident command of common IT applications, especially MS Office. In addition, good knowledge of the SAP software modules CO, MM and SRM as well as experience in electronic procurement (Al Procurement Manager) is desirable.
