From 23 to 30 October 2025, Chengdu became the heart of innovation in future communications, hosting two landmark events:
🔹 the 12th ACM International Conference on Nanoscale Computing and Communication (ACM NanoCom 2025)
🔹 and the IEEE 11th World Forum on Internet of Things (WF-IoT 2025)
👉 At ACMNanoCom2025, the 6G-life project presented numerous scientific contributions on anoscale communication, bio-hybrid systems and neuro-inspired Information Theory, confirming the interdisciplinary and innovative nature of the project, which aims to develop new forms of communication between biology and technology.
👉 As part of WFIoT2025, the Workshop on Quantum Internet of Things (QIoT) was held, organised by Riccardo Bassoli (Technische Universität Dresden), Holger Boche (Technical University of Munich), Christian Deppe (Technische Universität Braunschweig), Frank Fitzek (Technische Universität Dresden) and Janis Nötzel (Technical University of Munich), with on-site support from Muhammad I. and Yaning Zhao.
The workshop explored the convergence between uantum communication and IoT, highlighting emerging applications in secure communication, distributed sensing and next-generation networks — a decisive step towards the integration of quantum systems into real IoT infrastructures.
These events demonstrate 6G-life’s commitment to promoting cutting-edge research that combines quantum, nano and bio-inspired communication, towards a future of intelligent and interdisciplinary connectivity.
