Jerónimo Castrillón – ERC Consolidator Grant 2025

Jerónimo Castrillón, holder of the Chair of Compiler Construction at Technische Universität Dresden (TUD), has received one of the European Commission’s prestigious ERC Consolidator Grants for his project COMETH (COMpilers for ExTreme Heterogeneity), funded with €2 million over five years.

The project develops models capable of understanding different computing paradigms, simplifying the programming of complex and heterogeneous computer systems, including those based on new technologies such as quantum physics.
