We are thrilled to announce that 6G-life, one of Germany’s four transfer hubs, will be part of the German 6G Platform at the Mobile World Congress (MWC26) in Barcelona, taking place from March 2–5, 2026.
Why 6G – and why now?
Future-oriented innovations such as robotics, quantum technologies, and semiconductor production rely on advanced communication technologies, which go far beyond traditional mobile communications. 6G-life has already achieved significant milestones in applying 6G to robotics, thanks to the collaboration between Dresden University of Technology, Technical University of Munich, and our dynamic transfer ecosystem. As the new funding period begins, we remain committed to strengthening technological sovereignty while prioritizing sustainability and trustworthiness.
At MWC26, we look forward to presenting innovative 6G research and solutions for Shared Prosperity, alongside other German transfer hubs and incubators. This collaboration highlights Europe’s position as a globally significant technology hub, with Germany as a driving force.
