Rick Fritschek received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Furtwangen University, Germany, in 2010 and his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität (TU) Berlin, Germany, in 2012. He earned his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gerhard Wunder at the TU Berlin in 2018. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Chair for Information Theory and Machine Learning at the TU Dresden. Previously, he held the position of a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Universität Siegen and as the Principal Investigator of the DFG-funded project “Machine Learning for Physical Layer Security” at the Freie Universität Berlin. His research interests include information theory, machine learning, wireless communications, and physical layer security.
