Friedrich Burmeister is a Reseacher at TU Dresden specializing in mobile communications and wireless systems. He recently completed his PhD on the characterization and measurement of wireless channels in industrial scenarios, focusing on Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication (URLLC). Prior to his doctoral research, he studied Electrical Engineering at TU Dresden, graduating with a Diplom degree and receiving the prestigious Görges Prize for his outstanding diploma thesis.
Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in designing measurement campaigns, analyzing complex communication data sets, and developing technical demonstrators. His expertise includes localization technologies, data-driven system evaluation, and the application of AI methods to communication challenges.
