Hanna Hoffmann is a PhD candidate in Machine Learning Engineering and Surgical Data Science at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Dresden, within the Department of Translational Surgical Oncology (TSO) led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefanie Speidel. She received her Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechatronics from TU Dresden in 2022. Since August 2022 she has been employed at the NCT Dresden and jointly at TU Dresden and the University Hospital Dresden (UKD). Her research focuses on surgical skill assessment and training, and medical image and video analysis. Her contributions to the 6G-Life project work toward democratization of surgical skill and automation of evaluation.
