Matthias Schlemmer completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Information Engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in September 2023. He subsequently pursued a Master’s degree in Electrical and Information Engineering at TUM, graduating in February 2026. During his Master’s studies, he focused on Embedded and Computer Systems. In his Master’s thesis, he designed a chiplet simulation framework for the evaluation of chiplet-based systems. In 2026, he started his PhD at the Chair of Integrated Systems at TUM. His current research focuses on SmartNICs and their efficient utilization for load balancing and task offloading.
