Pit Hofmann was born in 1997 and graduated from high school in Stollberg, Germany, in 2016 with an overall grade of very good. Furthermore, he received the Diploma degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in civil engineering from Technische Universität Dresden, Germany in 2021. Pit continues his studies in the field of communication networks where he is currently pursuing a PhD degree at the Deutsche Telekom Chair of Communication Networks. His research focuses on molecular communications, diffusion-based molecular nanonetworks and the Internet of Bio-Nano Things.
