Florian received his Diploma degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in electrical engineering from Technical University Dresden, Germany in 2021 and is now pursuing a Ph.D. degree at the Vodafone Chair at TU Dresden. His research interests revolve around sustainable and energy-efficient networks. As such, his research focuses on 1-bit quantized systems and the estimation theory required within them, as well as investigating the potential for energy savings in gearbox PHY.
