Sven Kolb is a research associate at the Research Group Minimally invasive Interdisciplinary Therapeutical Interventions (MITI) of the University Hospital rechts der Isar. He completed his bachelor’s studies in Engineering Science at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in 2020. Afterwards, he continued his master’s studies in Mechanical Engineering at TUM, where he graduated in 2022. In his master’s thesis, he developed a universal sterile end effector for the robotic manipulation of surgical instruments. His research in the 6G-life project focuses on the development of a prototypical demonstrator for a robotic telemedical examination system within the 6G testbed.
