From 2 to 4 July 2024, the Berlin 6G Conference was held, a highly relevant event for the telecommunications industry. During the conference, an overview of German 6G projects and their initial results was presented, giving participants a clear view of the state of the art and future prospects. It was possible to learn details about 6G programmes in the European Union and other countries, as well as to receive updates on 6G-related regulatory issues.
The conference offered numerous opportunities to participate in discussions on future visions, key trends, emerging technologies and other topics of interest. This allowed participants to meet industry peers and create a valuable network of contacts for the future.
The event was opened by Bettina Stark-Watzinger, Federal Minister of Education and Research, whose opening speech was much appreciated. Afterwards, the Minister visited the various exhibition stands, where we had the honour of showing her our innovations.
