At the recent IEEE 10th World Forum on the Internet of Things, the 2nd Special Session dedicated to the Quantum Internet of Things (QIoT) was successfully held in Ottawa, Canada. Speakers presented the latest innovations on how quantum technologies can make the IoT more efficient, secure and effective.
Among the topics discussed: the use of quantum key distribution (QKD) to secure IoT networks, quantum sensors to improve data accuracy, and quantum algorithms to accelerate information processing. This session confirmed how the QIoT is opening up new perspectives for a connected and secure future, offering concrete solutions to the industry’s challenges.
