6G-life at IEEE Globecom 2024: A Successful Start in Cape Town!
The Global Communications Conference kicked off on December 8, and we are excited to be part of it! Over the next few days, our team from 6G-life will be on site in Cape Town, showcasing innovative contributions from our research along with some of our demonstrators.
We’re thrilled to share some of the highlights from of the first two days:
- Tutorial: molecular communication integrated into future communication systems
Robert Schober and Pit Hofmann provided valuable input on the role of molecular communication in 6G.
- WICE/YP mentoring program
Christian Deppe was one of several mentors who supported researchers with questions about career support, building skills and expanding their networks.
- Industry panel: Resilience as the last frontier in 6G networks
Prof. Frank Fitzek together with Prof. Aydin Sezgin (6GEM) discussed strategies to ensure resilience in next generation networks.
The exchange of ideas and research was inspiring! We’re looking forward to inspiring discussions, networking, and sharing insights into the future of communication technologies.
