For the first time, Brains on Silicon took place in Dresden – bringing together visionary speakers, pioneering researchers, and professionals from diverse industries who are shaping the next generation of AI and hardware technologies.
Among the highlights was a keynote by Prof. Frank Fitzek, one of the three coordinators of 6G-life, who took the main stage with his talk “The Future of AI on Silicon and Beyond”. He shared thought-provoking insights into the social challenges we already face – and those still to come – while emphasizing how innovative research and forward thinking can help us meet them.
During his presentation, Prof. Fitzek also offered an exclusive preview of the upcoming 6G-life book, “Unveiling the Future of Technological Sovereignty, Sustainability, and Trustworthiness,” set to be published in January 2026.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the Brains on Silicon team for creating such a modern and inspiring setting – the perfect environment to rethink how we want to design the intelligent systems of the future.
