Bensu Baran-Akin received her B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Koc University in Istanbul Turkey, with a minor in Physics and in Business Administration. She obtained her M.Sc. degree from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in 2022. Since September 2022, she is working towards her Dr.-Ing. Degree at the Institute for Communications Engineering at TUM within LÜT (Leitungsgebundene Übertragungstechnik) group. Her main research interest lies in the field of optical communication systems.
