Exploring the Future of 6G Technologies – Together with Strong Partners
From June 3–6, 6G-life took part in the renowned EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025 in Poznań, Poland. At a joint booth with our partners from launchhub42 and the 6G-RIC Research and Innovation Cluster, we showcased current research, innovative technologies, and practical use cases that will shape the future of 6G.
One of the highlights was Prof. Frank Fitzek’s participation in the expert panel “Understanding and Shaping the Role of In-Network Computing for 6G Networks.” Together with David González G., Andreas Müller, and Diego Lopez, he discussed the critical role of computing within future network infrastructures.
In addition, Ahmad Nimr and Gerhard Fettweis contributed to the technical discourse by co-hosting the Second International Workshop on Holistic 6G Radio Design, offering insights into new architectural approaches for 6G radio systems.
A crowd favorite at the stand was Spot, our agile robot that demonstrated 6G innovations live: a sensor-controlled glove from Mimentik makes it possible to control it. The SLAM demo is also used to map the terrain with Spot.
The summit provided an excellent platform for interdisciplinary exchange, international collaboration, and fresh perspectives on 6G development. We’re proud to have been part of it and look forward to continuing the dialogue — both at future events and within our growing 6G innovation community.
