Matthias Lohrmann received his diploma of electrical engineering at TU Dresden in 2018. For the thesis he worked on a Bluetooth Low-Energy IP implementation for embedded systems with focus on low-power. Matthias worked for several years as consultant in the semiconductor industry before joining Prof. Christian Mayr’s chair to work on embedded AI systems again. His work focuses on System-on-Chip implementations for AI acceleration on the edge, biosignal processing and neuromorphic supercompute systems.
