I studied mechanical engineering at the Technische Universität Dresden with focus on textile machine engineering. In 2019 in graduated with a Diploma and in January 2020 I started working as a research associate at the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM). I am currently working in the research group of textile chemistry and textile finishing / polymer- and fiber technology. The focus of my work is the development of coatings and functionalization of filament up to textile fabrics. Additionally, I am developing smart textiles including sensing and actuating units.
