Q-PIC Workshop 2025

On June 24, the University of Michigan hosted the Q-PIC Workshop 2025, a key satellite event of the IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory (ISIT), focused on Quantum Information: Open Problems, Impact, and Challenges.

The workshop brought together leading voices from academia, industry, and startups to address the latest advances and open questions in quantum computing, communication, and security. From deterministic quantum identification to real-world quantum network deployments, the program reflected a field in rapid evolution.

Notable highlights included:

  • A visionary keynote by Prof. Saikat Guha (University of Maryland)

  • Groundbreaking presentations on Quantum PUFs, Secure Quantum Tokens, and Spatially-Coupled QLDPC Codes
