As the global telecommunications community looks toward the next generation of mobile communication, Dresden has once again proven to be at the heart of global innovation. On May 19–20, the International Congress Center Dresden was transformed into a vibrant hub for the IEEE 6G Summit Dresden 2026. Industry leaders, pioneering researchers, and tech enthusiasts gathered to explore the future of 6G.
The IEEE 6G Summit provided an ideal platform to demonstrate how the research driven by TU Dresden and TU Munich is actively moving from theory into practice. Over the two-day event, our team engaged with international experts to share our vision for a human-centric, sustainable, and resilient digital life.

Whether discussing the optimization of network resources for critical medical applications, exploring how drone swarms can safely adapt to dynamic environments, or tackling the core principles of secure human-AI co-existence, the overarching theme remained clear: putting the human at the center of 6G.
