Loreen Pogrzeba studied computer science in media at the University of Applied Sciences Dresden (HTW Dresden) and finished her diploma in 2009. From 2010 to 2012, she taught computer animation and digital compositing as a full-time lecturer at the HTW Dresden with a focus on 3d animation and character design. Driven by a keen interest in understanding human movement, she worked from 2012 to 2019 as a research assistant for markerless motion capture and analysis at the HTW Dresden. She specialized in motion analysis in rehabilitation and sports medicine. Since November 2021 Loreen is a member of the section of Lifespan Developmental Neuroscience at the Technical University (TU) Dresden and is working towards developing digital twins of people across the lifespan.
