I am Nikhitha Nunavath, I did my five year BSMS dual degree with majors in Physics, at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati, in 2016-2021. My MS-Thesis was titled “Quantum Teleportation – deterministic and probabilistic schemes” under the supervision of Prof. Arun Kumar Pati from HRI Allahabad, India. After my MS-Thesis, I joined as Junior Research Fellow at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) Noida, India in quantum optics and quantum communications group under Prof. Anirban Pathak in a project titled “Generation of entangled photons and it’s applications to quantum computation and information processing”. I was awarded as NASI Swarna Jayanthi Puraskar 2021 – Physical Science India, for the outstanding and notable research by young scientists given by National Academy of Sciences India (NASI). I was a Junior Research Fellowship recipient, given by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India for the academic year Sep’ 2021-2022 (till mid of Nov)
