Stefan Hägele studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at Technical University of Munich with focus on communications engineering and signal processing. He completed the bachelor in 2019 and the consecutive master in 2022. During that time, he gained practical experience working at Rohde&Schwarz on developing novel types of radar signal generators in a role as a working student. He is currently working in Prof. Steinbach’s group at the Chair of Media Technology in the 6G-life project, focusing on applications of radar sensing in indoor environments to enhance perception of the environment. This includes indoor detection and classification of objects, surface types and also certain semantics. Hence, his research interests include signal processing and deep learning for data-driven radar applications using off-the-shelf radar sensors.
